I think I have something wrong with me. I don't feel compelled to follow the teachings of any major religion. I am not the least bit patriotic, i.e., I don't believe that renaming food in the Congressional cafeteria in order to remove any affiliation (loosely definable as it may be) with France is a good use of Federal resources. I think the notion of land ownership, though necessary, is actually quite ridiculous...like a person can actually pretend that he has any control over the final disposition of any portion of the universe's matter. I don't think that reality TV has any redeeming qualities. I think that taking of a hat during a solemn event is unnecessary, as solemnity is felt inside the heart and not shown with the way one displays his accessories. I think those puppies kept in the little cages at the pet store at the mall look absolutely miserable and probably don't appreciate having to eat so close to where they crap. I've noticed that people don't seem to appreciate my opinions, so I must have something wrong with me. I think I've said enough today, and I think you should all have a great weekend.

  • Sean, i find your random musings poignant, while inspiring. Granted, I have ready access to them in person, but nevertheless. Someday when you're (in)famous, this will be a valuable treasure trove o' insight.

As for the anti-French-ites, perhaps they fail to recall that they helped us win the revolution.

Granted, this was followed by really poorly run revolution of their own, which partially resulted from a kind of half-assed so-called Enlightenment, but hey, credit where credit is due.

I find it ironic that many "hate" the French for being snobby, for thinking they're better than everyone else. God, I don't know ANY other nationality that thinks they're BETTER than everyone else! Perish the thought.
